CITI ATM and Transaction Charges

Debit cards are your best friends in our cashless world. So, just free yourself from carrying cash wherever you go. You can easily withdraw cash from your account when you require it with the help of CitiBank debit cards at ATMs. Get a detailed list of ATM and transaction charges of CitiBank debit card here:

Withdrawal at CitiBank ATM

  • Free first 5 transactions in a month.
  • For any financial transaction beyond the transaction limit, Rs. 20 is charged; and for any non-financial transaction, it is Rs. 8.5.

Withdrawal at Other ATMs

  • 3 free transactions in metros and 5 free transactions in non-metros per month are allowed.
  • For any financial transaction beyond the transaction limit, Rs. 20 is charged; and for any non-financial transaction, it is Rs. 8.5.

International Cash Withdrawal Fees

A fee of Rs.125 + applicable tax is charged for international cash withdrawal.

International Balance Enquiry fees

A fee of Rs. 25 + applicable tax is charged for International Balance Enquiry.

Transaction Decline Charges

A charge of  Rs. 25 + tax must be borne by the customer if there is a transaction decline due to insufficient funds.

Surcharge on CitiBank Debit Cards

  • No surcharge for using the CitiBank debit card at any domestic merchant locations and websites.
  • A mark-up amount of 3.5% is charged for transactions at international merchants.
  • Fuel surcharge of 2.5% + tax subject to a minimum of Rs. 10 is charged on the debit card. It is waived on CitiBank’s EDCs at IOC pumps.
  • The surcharge of 1.8% or Rs. 10 (whichever is higher) is levied on railway tickets purchased with Citibank debit cards.
Note:  Financial transactions are the ones that include cash withdrawal  
and non-financial transactions include activities such as balance inquiry, PIN change, and mini statement.
